The Iranian People and a Conversation with the Prime Minister………
IDSF - Israel’s Defence and Security Forum
In today’s briefing, former Government Press Office Director Danny Seaman provides an in-depth look at the most pressing issues shaping Israel and Iran right now.
Danny shares his expert perspective on the changes that are unfolding on the ground in Iran and the impact this can have on the regime’s global ambitions, the ongoing war in Israel, and how recent developments are influencing both Israeli domestic and international decision-making.
Danny also reflects on the key lessons learned from 2025 — militarily, in the press and in terms of global perception — and what they may signal for the months ahead.
In addition, Danny offers unique insights from his conversation this week with the Prime Minister, shedding light on leadership, strategy, and the challenges facing Israel at this critical moment.
A timely and candid discussion with one of Israel’s most experienced voices in government communications.
HERE is the recording of the briefing from today.
Unconfirmed Report: Over 12,000 Estimated Dead in Iran Amid Protests…..
Protesters gathered in Iran’s largest cemetery, Behesht-e Zahra, on Monday, chanting slogans such as “This year is the year of bloodshed, Seyyed Ali will be overthrown.”
12,000 people have been killed during the protests in Iran, largely over the course of Thursday and Friday nights, Iran International reported on Tuesday, describing the events as “the largest killing in Iran’s contemporary history.”
These figures are unconfirmed estimates by the outlet. Data from the US-based rights organization HRANA confirms the deaths of 646 people since the outbreak of the demonstrations last month.
As a Christian ministry holding to a Biblical view of current and future events we again at Israel Report urge caution over what is occurring in Iran.
Many prophetic ministries and websites are claiming that the Islamic regime in Iran is on the verge of collapse and will be soon replaced by the organization headed by the exiled son of the former Shah.
For multiple reasons this is highly unlikely, no matter how dire it presently looks for the Ayatollah’s in Tehran.
Most importantly, when current global circumstances are taken into consideration, such a latter day national upheaval within Iran would run contrary to the writings of the Hebrew prophets when it come to the future of the Persian nation.
She is slated to be a apart of a coalition of nations that will assemble in the “Latter Days” in a fateful invasion of Israel. This coalition is now in place just as foretold all those centuries ago.
When one considers that so many prophetic fulfillment’s have already occurred in recent years revealing just how near we are now to the time of great tribulation as revealed in scripture for the days just prior to the return of Christ it appears impossible for Iran to suddenly be transformed into an Israel-loving nation at this time?
‘Help is on‘ its way’: Trump urges Iranians to keep protesting, Seize Institutions…..
Appearing to depart from the notion of negotiating with the Iranian government, US President Donald Trump told protesters in Iran on Tuesday that “help is on its way” and urged them to keep protesting and take control of the country’s institutions.
He added that those who have killed protesters would “pay a big price.” What that would entail is not revealed.
Trump’s remarks, made in a social media post, [above] came after Iranian authorities said some 2,000 people had been killed in the mass demonstrations, though the Mossad was reported to say that the true toll was more than twice as high.
Australian “Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill 2026”…
Australians could now face up to 15 years imprisonment for comments deemed offensive by the government. The Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill introduced this month establishes federal offences for “publicly promoting or inciting hatred.” Speech, writing, or “other forms of public gestures” will be monitored and controlled.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said “I encourage you to read the Old Testament and see what’s there and see if you outlaw that, what would occur,” he said. “I encourage you to read the Old Testament and see what’s there and see if you outlaw that, what would occur,” he said. “So we need to be careful — we consulted with faith groups, not just with the Jewish community. We want to make sure there’s the broadest possible support for this legislation but we also want to make sure that there isn’t unintended consequences of the legislation.”
“Unintended consequences” come down to losing voters, but for citizens, their freedom is at risk at every turn. The Old Testament example is quite interesting as that would chalk up Judaism and Christianity to “hate speech” for questioning the LGBTQ community.
The law will also further prevent the public from accessing firearms. Intelligence agencies will have the ability to reconsider gun licenses. “The terrorists at Bondi Beach had hatred in their minds but guns in their hands. This law will deal with both, and we need to deal with both,” the prime minister said.
Courts will look at three items to identify criminal hate speech: public incitement, superiority claims, and serious vilification.
The Reasonable Person Test is the official standard courts use, which broadly allows anything to be taken out of context. In fact, Australian legislators believe that NO VICTIM IS REQUIRED!
Prosecutors do not need to prove that anyone was harmed or felt intimidated. Context will be considered over intent. The government will now have full range to claim that any “reasonable person” of a certain group would feel intimidated or harassed by direct or indirect comments.
The government has full control over speech. Religious leaders, especially Christians who are unprotected, are especially vulnerable to this new law. They may quote religious scripture only for teaching or discussion, but any additional commentary or sermons could result in federal prosecution.

Interesting that they would seemingly try to combat antisemitism by using a law to exercise more control over speech. Very dangerous slope. The enemy is crafty.
Interestingly enough in the UK freedom of speech and even thought is all but weaponized that even saying something against Hamas online will land you a visit by the authorities.
