Waiting Patiently for Him......
17 June 2022
This is a most amazing time to be alive.
Before the foundations of the world were laid, God chose us to be alive at the end of the Church Age.
What a privilege!
And God has given some, but not all, the insight to understand the truth about all that's going on around us.
We're seeing the beginnings of the anti-Christ's world system coming into place at a frightening pace. This would be uncomfortable to watch except Jesus promises to rescue us before God's wrath falls upon this planet.
To put global events aside and be found trusting, calm and faithful is required.
Not easily done of course.
SO much is now being unleashed on the world -war, great depravity, medical tyranny, financial implosion, coming hyperinflation, crime, and vicious persecution of those who stand for righteousness.
As heart-wrenching as it is to observe it was all promised to occur as the time neared for the return of our Saviour - and now it is with us - however, we were not left without encouragement.
Wrote our beloved apostle Paul; ..."wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come". Thessalonians. 1:10
He will, and VERY soon..much sooner than most think too? Make sure you are ready and watching.
Israel and Iran: Five minutes to Midnight?...
18 June 2022
Israel and Iran are rapidly approaching an inflection point over Tehran’s nuclear program, and what was the atomic equivalent of a controlled clash between the two countries is now devolving into an unconstrained chain reaction.
In late May, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations agency tasked with globally overseeing nuclear technology and use, reported that Iran possesses enough fissile material to construct a nuclear weapon.
Jerusalem’s long-feared spectre of Tehran becoming an existential threat to Israel is now very real and imminent.
Iran’s amassing of 95 pounds of highly enriched uranium (HEU) is deeply concerning.
Sufficient HEU mass is required for a nuclear chain reaction to sustain itself and Tehran has ominously crossed that minimum threshold.
More telling, however, is Iran’s decision to enrich its HEU stockpile to 60 percent — a level significantly beyond the 3 percent to 5 percent HEU enrichment needed to produce fuel for medical experiments and nuclear power plants.
Spoken or not, Tehran is clearly aiming for 90 percent HEU enrichment, the level necessary to build an atomic weapon.
For Israel, it is 1981 redux — when then-Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and his security Cabinet authorized Operation Babylon to destroy Saddam Hussein’s Osirak nuclear facility.
Iraq’s atomic threat was largely theoretical in nature in 1981; Iran’s today is far more dire and will be exponentially more difficult to eliminate.
The ayatollahs have been down this path before, targeting Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Guardrails aimed at avoiding this crisis — tenuous as they were — are fast dissipating. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is all but dead.
That agreement was by no means perfect; however, it did serve to stunt Iran’s uranium enrichment while buying Jerusalem valuable time to plan and refine military options, if needed.
The Pentagon fully realizes that time is not on Israel’s side, nor that of the U.S. and its allies.
In March, now-retired Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, then commander of U.S. Central Command, testified in a Senate hearing that Iran has “3,000 ballistic missiles,” including variants capable of reaching Tel Aviv, while assessing Tehran’s nuclear “breakout” is now measured in “weeks,” not “months.”
If forced to attack Iran’s nuclear program, Israel’s primary target would be destroying the centrifuges enriching HEU in Natanz, Fordow [situated in Biblical Elam] and elsewhere — all of which are buried deep underground.
It is the only military means by which Jerusalem could avert Tehran from reaching the 90 percent HEU enrichment level. Numerous tertiary targets also would need to be eliminated. Iran Watch lists 38 known nuclear-related sites in total.
Jerusalem’s planning must anticipate Hezbollah, Hamas and other Tehran-backed militias aggressively responding in kind if Israel launches a raid into Iran.
In all likelihood, before Israel’s air forces could return to Israeli airspace, massive volleys of rocket fire would be hitting the country from Lebanon, Gaza and Syria — and possibly even from Iran itself.
Striking Iran’s nuclear facilities would be only the beginning, not the end, of a hot war between Israel and Iran.
There is no doubt of any kind that Israel is preparing to strike Iran to stop them from getting a nuclear weapon, and right now preparations are underway to refit their F-35 jets with longer-range capabilities with one ton precision bomb payloads.
They have been war-gaming possible scenarios for months now.
Prepared or not, Israel and Washington both appear to be out of time — Iran’s threat is substantial, and it is only intensifying.
Until now, Jerusalem’s “war between wars” covert approach against Iran was sufficient to tactically frustrate Tehran’s nuclear ambitions, largely via sabotage and assassinations of key Iranian nuclear physicists.
It no longer is — not when HEU is 60 percent enriched.
Measured in Doomsday Clock terms, it is five minutes to midnight in Jerusalem and Tehran.
Israel; the Middle East's New Energy Superpower...
17 June 2022
In an historic move,Israel has just signed a deal with the European Union to export natural gas through the year 2050.
This is important for several reasons: 1) Israel has officially become an energy superpower. 2) The EU has always hated Israel, but now they have become virtual allies.
This is important because it is from that part of Europe that the antichrist will rise, and Israel will ally with him. 3) The countdown to the Russian invasion to plunder the spoils of Israel in the Ezekiel 38 War has begun.
Russia’s primary source of income is its energy exports. Losing its number one customer, Europe, to Israel will rapidly become untenable and stir Gog to remedy the situation.
The Lord has given His church front row seats in the theatre now playing out the events just prior to the Time of Jacob's Trouble.
Biden schedules 40 hours from July 13 for his first visit to Israel as US president.......
June 18, 2022
The White House announced that on July 13, during his 40-hour visit, starting with a formal airport reception, he will be Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s guest for dinner and also meet Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah.
A White House official reported that the visit would also feature a virtual summit with Bennett, Indian prime minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Muhammed Bin-Zayid.
The four leaders will discuss the world’s food security crisis sparked by the Ukraine war as well as expanded cooperation in the fields of technology and innovation.
From Israel, the president will fly direct to Jeddah where a regional summit for nine Arab rulers has been arranged. This is the real reason for the trip -to curry some favour with Saudi Arabia and have them up their oil pumping!
PA: World War III if Jews are allowed to pray on the Temple Mount.....
18 June 2022
Recently, one of PA Chairman Abbas’ advisors threatened that continued visits by Jews at the Temple Mount combined with a division of prayer times for Jews and Muslims will lead to something similar to World War III.
PA Presidential Office Advisor on Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Al-Ruweidi said that this would be “tantamount to an attack on a billion Muslims in the world” and would lead to a “religious war” that would “reach the entire world”:
“This will be tantamount to an attack on a billion Muslims in the world – which means the buds of a religious war”… he added: ‘The religious war will not stop at the borders of the region and the borders of the Palestinian people, but rather will reach the US, Europe, and the entire world”
“Continued invasion (i.e., Jews visiting) will turn the conflict into a religious war that will exterminate everything”
Answering the incessant PA claims that the “division according to areas and times” of the Temple Mount is an actual Israeli plan, former Israeli PM Netanyahu has stated numerous times that the Israeli government has no intention of changing the status quo
China launches high-tech aircraft carrier in naval milestone...
18 June 2022
Beijing launched a new-generation aircraft carrier Friday, the first such ship to be both designed and built in China, in a milestone as it seeks to extend the range and power of its navy.
The Type 003 carrier christened Fujian left its dry dock at a shipyard outside Shanghai in the morning and tied up at a nearby pier, state media reports said.
State broadcaster CCTV showed assembled navy personnel standing beneath the massive ship as water jets sprayed over its deck, multi-coloured streamers flew and colourful smoke was released.
Equipped with the latest weaponry and aircraft-launch technology, the Type 003 ship’s capabilities are thought to rival those of Western carriers, as Beijing seeks to turn its navy, already the world’s largest, into a multi-carrier force.
China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy, or PLAN, has been modernizing for more than a decade to become more of a “blue water” force — one capable of operating globally rather than being restricted to remaining closer to the Chinese mainland.
China continues to alarm the US with new private warnings to avoid Taiwan Strait.
Nato says it will increase its forces on Russia’s doorstep.....
18 June 2022
NATO has announced it will boost forces on its eastern flank as Vladimir Putin’s brutal war with Ukraine enters its fifth month.
For the first time since the Cold War, the alliance will have ‘pre-assigned forces to specific countries in the east, linked to our defence plans’.
This is to enable a faster response in case of a threat, following repeated Russian propagandist threats that ‘nuclear war could be coming’.
Long-term plans to help Ukraine defend itself against Moscow’s aggression have been discussed as peace talks flop once again.
Western voices press quietly to end Ukraine war. Ceding territory to Moscow is unavoidable.......
President Joe Biden’s decision this week to grant Ukraine another billion-dollar package for its war effort against Russia did not preclude questions in Washington and from its allies as to how long this war can go on.
Washington has advanced a total of $5.6bn to Kyev since the Russian invasion of February 24.
The administration is currently up against 8.5p% inflation in America and other domestic challenges.
Russia, for its part, has sold oil to the West worth $97 bn, enough to bankroll its Ukraine war and draw the sting of sanctions from its economy.
By the end of the year, Moscow will have netted $285 bn from its energy sales compared with $236 bn in 2021.
The West has meanwhile slowed down deliveries of advanced weaponry, the Ukrainian army has begun complaining.
Western military sources note that the fighting forces’ capacity to absorb the newfangled weaponry is declining along, tragically, with their numbers.
As the cost of the war becomes increasingly exorbitant, more and more voices are being raised in Western capitals calling for a roadmap to a solution of the Ukraine war.
French President Emmanuel Macron, on a visit to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy this week, with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, commented:
“Ukraine alone should decide whether or not to accept any territorial concessions towards Russia with a view to ending the war.”
Macron thus referred to territorial concessions, a term hitherto unmentionable in the presence of Zelenskyy, who dreams of recovering territory grabbed by Moscow, including Crimea.
The big stumbling block for now is that Ukraine and Russia have each convinced themselves that victory is within their grasp, whereas the facts on the ground show the tide of war turning in favour of the Russian army.
At some point, Kyev will therefore not be able to avoid an eventual deal with Moscow that will entail giving up territory.
But meanwhile the appalling suffering, deaths, hardship and destruction are reaching the point of no return as entire communities, villages and towns are reduced to rubble.
By the end this year, the Ukraine economy will have shrunk by an estimated 45%.
The Russians commandeered this year’s Ukraine grain harvest, a primary export, and are selling it on.
Biden administration spokesmen are sticking to their public support of Kyev’s undoubtedly heroic stand against a brutal invasion.
But as the conflict drags on, an armed US-Russian conflict may loom, however much Washington seeks to avoid one.
One Washington voice was heard commenting this week: “This unending war” needs to be resolved and the sooner the better.
