Is the Last Global Empire being Assembled in Our Day?
11 December 2021
In the writings of the Biblical prophet Daniel he records a night vision that God gave him concerning four world empires, symbolised as four beasts (Daniel 7:1–14).
The four empires are the same as Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream in Daniel 2, although in that dream they are pictured as various metals in a statue.
Daniel’s vision assures us that the world’s empires have a certain amount of authority for a certain length of time, but they will all pass away, and “the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever” (Daniel 7:18).
The vision of the four beasts troubles Daniel, and he wonders what it means until an angel explains it to him (Daniel 7:15–27). Even then, the vision and its interpretation continue to cause Daniel distress: “I, Daniel, was deeply troubled by my thoughts, and my face turned pale, but I kept the matter to myself” (verse 28).
Daniel’s vision of the four beasts begins with a windy night and a troubled sea: “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea” (Daniel 7:2). As Daniel watches, “four great beasts,” each different from the others, emerge from the dark waters (verse 3).
Later, the angel who interprets the dream tells Daniel, “The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth” (verse 17).
This first beast is representative of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon: (34–35). The second beast is the Medo-Persian Empire and the text suggests Persia would be dominant.
The third beast represents Greece, an empire known for the swiftness of its conquests.
The final beast that Daniel sees rising from the sea is the most dreadful—“terrifying and frightening and very powerful” (Daniel 7:7).
The fourth beast has ten horns. This creature represents the Roman Empire, a mighty kingdom that crushed all its foes.
So, Daniel’s vision of the four beasts provided a prophetic look at future world events. Looking back from our perspective, we see these events as world history and can easily see the correlation between each beast and a world empire.
However, there was more to Daniel’s vision, and some of it is yet future, even for us.
Daniel’s attention is drawn to the destructive fourth beast, and he ponders the meaning of its ten horns. Then, a smaller horn begins to grow from the midst of the ten. As the little horn emerges from the beast, three of the original horns are plucked out by the roots.
Daniel sees that the little horn has “eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully” (Daniel 7:8). The proud, boastful words of the little horn continue until the Ancient of Days sets up a day of judgement (verses 9–10).
This is in contrast to the fate of the other three beasts, who lost their authority but were not immediately destroyed (verse 12).
As the interpretation of the vision is given to Daniel, the prophet asks specifically about the fourth beast and its horns (Daniel 7:19). The angel explains: the beast’s ten horns are ten kings who will arise from that kingdom (verse 24).
The little imposing horn with the eyes and mouth of a human represents a later king; before him three of the original kings will be subdued. This evil king “will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people” (verse 25).
He will seek to change times and laws, and he will exert oppressive power over God’s people for three and a half years. This world leader that Daniel saw is the Antichrist, the “ruler who will come”.
Given the fact that the Antichrist emerges from the fourth beast leads us to surmise that, in the end times, there will be a “revival” of the Roman Empire, featuring a coalition of ten world leaders.
The Antichrist ( the first beast of Revelation chapter 13) will take his position of leadership at the expense of three of those leaders, and he will eventually wield global authority.
A true tyrant, the Antichrist will demand worship and seek to control all aspects of life (see Revelation 13:16–17).
This final global fuhrer causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark IN their right hand or IN their forehead, so that no one may buy or sell, except he who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Notice that the beast in Revelation also has ten horns, and John describes it as resembling “a leopard, but [it] had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion” (Revelation 13:2). In other words, the beast of Revelation contains elements of all of Daniel’s beasts.
Are we seeing the set-up for this fourth empire in our day? It would seem so.
Prophesied originally in 555 B.C. this last beast empire began to form and rise increasingly from the ashes of World War II.
The Bretton Woods Conference monetary conference,1944, The World Bank and International Monetary Fund,1944.
In 1945 the United Nations was instituted, the World Health Organisation in 1948, [when Israel was once again pronounced a nation after a 2000 year exile], the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, and NATO,1949,
In 1957 the Treaty of Rome was issued otherwise known as; Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
These power blocs are the foundation of this coming edifice.
It will be a tyrannical all encompassing pervasive surveillance state on a global scale.
It is a unique empire fashioned on the Chinese Communist model, it is a Dragon controlled digitalised totalitarian regime,
Both Daniel and John were staggered when it was shown to them. It was utterly unlike the empires of the past.
Today we are witnessing the rapid formation of just such a regime - introduced stealthily through digital identity applications, passports, vaccination status, and data storage.
Even now, those without a certain vaccination status are being grossly limited in their ability to buy, sell, or participate in the social mileau of humanity.
Soon every activity we participate in will be monitored, our purchasing, selling, banking, assets and behaviour will be visible to the authorities upon demand.
The good news is that the reign of the Antichrist is limited: forty-two months, and no more.
Then, God promises to judge the little horn. “The court will sit, and [the little horn’s] power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever” (Daniel 7:26).
Or, as John saw it, “The beast was captured, and [was] thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur” (Revelation 19:20).
The Son of Man, our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ will finally rule forever. Make sure you are secure in His soon coming kingdom.
Global War Drums are Beating Faster.....
11 December 2021
Russia has assembled 75.000 troops and the necessary war materiel on Ukraine’s border - China continues its plans, incursions and threats over Taiwan - and North Korea is breathing its continual venom toward the United States - and Israel is busily preparing for an attack on Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
There has never, since 1939, been such blatant signs that war is about to break out globally.
As early as January 2022, the Kremlin may unleash a “brief and victorious” war on Ukraine, a top military expert has told media, as world leaders and international bodies weigh the possibility of such a conflict.
Putin wants his troops to reach the Dnieper River that dissects Ukraine, seize a land corridor to annexed Crimea and ensure the resumption of water supply to the arid peninsula that was cut off in 2014 causing a chronic drought, said Ihor Romanenko, a retired lieutenant general and Ukraine’s former deputy chief of staff.
The blitzkrieg will not just involve tens of thousands of Russian servicemen currently deployed to the border with Ukraine, which is east of the capital Kyiv, and to Crimea, which is south of mainland Ukraine, he said.
It may include an invasion of Russian troops from Moscow-friendly Belarus, which is north of Kyiv, and Transdnistria, a breakaway, pro-Moscow Moldovan region which stretches across Ukraine’s southwestern border, he said.
“The most effective way is to begin military action from all sides simultaneously,” claims Romanenko
Meanwhile in China ‘War will come’ warns Beijing after Taiwan stocks up on US-made missiles.
The country has loaded up on US-made missiles to front up to China but its own retired military commander says they wouldn’t last “two weeks”.
Pressure is also mounting for Australia to get involved in the South China Sea conflict.
Lieutenant General Yeh Jen-wen, a veteran of 32 years in Taiwan’s navy, has told his increasingly nervous nation that it was “playing with fire” by upgrading its military.
And if relations with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) deteriorated to the point of war, the island would be quickly overwhelmed.
In the past few weeks Washington approved the sale of $600 million worth of drones and $2.37 billion of Harpoon missiles. They’re the latest in a series of arms deals signed with Washington since 2017.
One of them, in particular, has upset Beijing.
The four large armed reconnaissance Sea-Guardian aircraft gives Taiwan the ability to conduct long duration, armed patrols. But the sea-skimming Harpoon missile has a range of about 250km.
That means it can reach China’s coastal facilities across the Taiwan Strait.
A few weeks ago, the CCP appointed editor of the Global Times declared that if the US continued to re-arm and support Taiwan’s independence, “war will come”.
But the Chinese Communist Party is taking offence that its neighbour is daring to defy its demands.
The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) this week sent combat jets to join its increasingly regular probes of Taiwan’s airspace.
CCP-controlled news service Global Times ominously intoned that Beijing had “drawn lessons” from changes to the “one country, two systems” principle governing its relations with Hong Kong and Taiwan.
That idea has all but been abandoned in Hong Kong.
Taiwan, it seems, is next.
UAE, Saudis seek détente with Tehran, fed up with US-Israel slow motion on nuclear-armed Iran.....
December 9 2021
United Arab Emirates and Saudi leaders took significant steps this week towards rapprochement with Tehran, backing away overtly for the first time from the Iran policies pursued by US and Israel.
Nonetheless, little notice was attracted by the Emirati National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed’s visit to Tehran on Monday, December 6 and his meetings with his Iranian counterpart, Ali Shamkhani and President Ibrahim Raisi. [pictured above]
Likewise, the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman (MbS)’s tour of Gulf capitals kicked off at Muscat, Oman, was practically unreported.
However, according to Iran and Gulf sources, those trips were the first formal steps of a major policy shift in the region that reflects disenchantment with the US and Israel.
The two leading Gulf rulers, MbS and the UAE’s Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed (MbZ), feel they cannot rely on either the US or Israel for protection against Iran’s machinations or for aborting its race for a nuclear weapon.
They appear therefore to have decided to abandon their anti-Iran policy and opted instead for rapprochement.
Two events stirred this radical change of orientation, according to the experienced Arab affairs analyst Abdel Bari Atwan: One was America’s failed pullout from Afghanistan and the other was the demonstration of Israel’s military shortcomings in the Guardian of the Walls operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, earlier this year.
Hamas was able to keep the rockets coming over Israel, notwithstanding the massive deployment of the highly prized Iron Dome anti-rocket system.
To Gulf leaders, this shortcoming translated into Israel’s inability to withstand an attack by Iran’s ballistic missiles.
They also took note of what they perceived as Israel’s failure to bring the Biden administration on board for realistic measures to stop Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Tehran, for its part, is parading its newfound advantage: NSA Shamkhani and his Emirati visitor were photographed against the background of a large wall map showing a vast, dominant Iran alongside barely discernible Arab Gulf states.
Iran is clearly not even waiting to acquire a nuclear weapon, [or, as we suspect, already has several?] or the outcome of its nuclear talks with the world powers in Vienna, before proclaiming itself the region’s dominant power.
Following this groundbreaking meeting: Shamkhani said: “Warm and friendly relations between the countries remain a priority… that shouldn’t be affected by other nations” – a dig at the UAE’s ties with the US and Israel, whereas President Raisi commented:
“There should be no barrier in relations of the two Muslim nations of Iran and the Emirates.” Sheikh Tahnoon responded by inviting the Iranian president for a state visit to Abu Dhabi.
The Saudi ruler followed a different path to Iran. In Muscat, he asked the Omani ruler Sultan Haitham Bin Tareq to act as mediator between Riyadh and Tehran in the hope of a deal that would also end the never-ending civil war in Yemen, in which Saudi Arabia is deeply embroiled.
The Omanis have long experience as a power broker. They were active in the back-channel talks between the Obama administration and Iran that resulted in the deeply flawed 2015 nuclear deal.
A joint statement on Wednesday in the Emirates, declared support for a Palestinian state headquartered in Jerusalem,
The statement affirmed their “full support” for the rights of the [Arab] Palestinian people, “foremost of which is their right to establish an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital…in a way that achieves the aspirations of the fraternally [?] Palestinian people.”

Syria: Israel reportedly launches missile attack on outskirts of Damascus......
11 December 2021
This attack resulted in some material damage but no casualties, says Syrian state TV, citing a military source
Since the Syrian civil war broke out in 2011, Israel has routinely carried out raids in the region.
Israel launched this aerial attack with a number of missiles targeting an area on the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus, Syrian state TV said early on Wednesday, citing a military source.
The attack resulted in some material damage but there were no reports of casualties, state TV said.
There was no immediate comment from Israeli officials, Reuters reported.
Since the Syrian civil war broke out in 2011, Israel has routinely carried out raids in the country, mostly targeting government positions, as well as allied Iranian and Hezbollah forces.
Israel rarely confirms its strikes in Syria, but its army said that it hit about 50 targets in the war-torn country last year, without providing details.
Israel has said it is trying to prevent its regional rival Iran from gaining a permanent military foothold on its doorstep.
News from the Temple Mount.........
11 December 2021
While the Temple Movement continues to prepare for the rebuilding of the Temple, most understand that some political action must take place to reverse the present situation of control of the Mount by Muslims, in order to allow for Jewish access.
This currently may be in process.
Concerning the site, Israel’s Supreme Court has stated in its ruling opinion on the Issue of the Works on the Temple Mount, “The reality on the Temple Mount…is by no means simple. It is extremely delicate and complicated".
This is one of those cases in which a judicial ruling is not the reasonable way to decide the dispute, and a decision of this kind goes beyond the boundaries of the law.
It is the political echelon, and not the court…that must give content and meaning to the historical call: "The Temple Mount is ours’.”
In other words, this must be a political, not legal, action. Those who understand Daniel’s prophecy of the seventieth week (Daniel 9:27) know that it is a future political leader, the Antichrist of Revelation 13, who will one day make a deceptive covenant with the Jewish leaders, leading to the rebuilding of the Third Temple.
How might this happen? One possibility was found in an academic book on the politics of the Temple Mount: “Given the emphasis upon the international community’s interest in the sites, under the concept of heritage of humankind, representatives from the international community need to be included as mediators and guarantors".
These would likely come from the United Nations (UNESCO) and drawn from regional powers such as the Arab League, NATO, or interested states such as the U.S., the E.U., and Russia…Any proposed legal regime will require interfaith cooperation composed of religious leaders from the region.
It may be supplemented by international religious leaders who may serve as mediators.
Well, wouldn't you know it? This is already well underway with the Abraham Accords, and the construction of a structure that will house worshippers from Judaism, Islam, and Christianity! The rise of the global religion of Chrislam!
Those who seek to understand biblical prophecy know that the Antichrist will be followed by both political and religious leaders, making this kind of proposal a reality.
It is exciting to see these developments unfold in the Land of Israel regarding the building of a Third Temple as we eagerly watch for the second coming of our Messiah!
