Israel Report Wednesday 02 July 2025
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud tease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. [Isaiah 13; vv 9-13]

Trump; Israel agrees to Conditions for 60-Day Gaza Ceasefire……..
US President Donald Trump claims that "Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War," in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday night.
In the post, Trump confirmed that his "Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza."
"The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal," he added.
"I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE," he continued.
Privately, Trump has made it known that he intends to put pressure on Prime Minister Netanyahu to end the Gaza war.
That pressure reflects not just internal U.S. calculations, but also the demands of the broader Sunni Arab world — including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and others — all of whom are calling for a two-state solution and postwar restructuring in Gaza.
Trump’s team— particularly through figures like Steve Witkoff — is pushing to finalize more Arab normalization deals in record time. This is being cast as peace diplomacy, but the driving engine is business.
Trump’s real estate empire spans Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and in Oman. He’s building the tallest hotel tower in the world in Dubai, his family is developing crypto partnerships in the Emirates, and aligning U.S. foreign policy with multi-trillion-dollar Gulf investment commitments in the U.S.
This isn’t diplomacy. This is transactional geopolitics, where Israel becomes a chess piece on a larger economic board.
Most concerning is that Trump believes money can solve the Middle East turmoil. That’s a profound miscalculation.
Israel is not a pawn of the rich and famous - it is God’s covenant land, and cannot be bargained away in multi-billion real estate deals and promises of prosperity for her sworn enemies.
The Trump presidency is leading America onto a very dangerous path. Working against the interests of God’s people will lead to complete and utter disaster.
Divine plans for Israel have nothing to do with commercial acumen.
Reshaping Israel & The Middle East……
The Middle East is once again approaching a critical turning point. Behind diplomatic mutterings and bold headlines lies a complex and dangerous question. Will Israel be forced to give up land for peace?
Netanyahu is heading to Washington on Monday along with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer. The Israeli cabinet, according to reports, will wait to hear back from Dermer's discussions before deciding on any next steps in Gaza.
The urgency of these talks escalated on Sunday when Trump posted to Truth Social, calling for a deal to "get the hostages back!!!"
That message, paired with suggestions of a massive regional realignment, raises critical questions: Is a Gaza deal--centred on the hostages--being quietly tied to an expanded Abraham Accords? And if so, what price will Israel be expected to pay?
Peace agreements in the Middle East are rarely without cost. This time, the price may not just be diplomatic recognition. It could involve territorial concessions, hostage deals, and a radically re- imagined future for Gaza.
Current negotiations reveal a framework; Arab nations--perhaps Egypt, Jordan, or even Saudi Arabia--could temporarily take over governance or security responsibilities in Gaza following a ceasefire and the return of Israeli hostages.
Will Israel be pressured to agree to a deal that leaves Hamas intact in any form, even by proxy? Will global powers use the return of Israeli hostages as leverage to push broader territorial concessions in Gaza, Judea, or even the Golan Heights?
Syria is now being discussed as a potential participant in the Abraham Accords. But Syria comes with some baggage--and territory.
With international pressure mounting to bring Syria back into the fold, Israel may be quietly asked to give up what it has secured after Assad's collapse.
That includes strategic positions near Mount Hermon, seized to protect Israeli citizens from Iranian proxies, and jihadist terror cells operating separate from the new Syrian government.
For years, Saudi Arabia has floated normalization in exchange for impossible demands: an Arab Palestinian state, the division of Jerusalem, and a freeze on settlement growth in Judea and Samaria.
A new Gaza governance plan--whether via Arab states or international coalitions--may become a backdoor path to Arab Palestinian statehood. If Israel halts its military efforts and permits external actors to step in, the world will label it "progress."
In reality, it could become the first brick in a rebuilt road toward dividing the land once again.
For Christian Zionists who stand with Israel, this is not just geopolitics--it is an intensely prophetic landscape.
The Hebrew Zechariah warns us that all nations will one day turn against Jerusalem. 1 Thessalonians 5 tells of a time when people cry "peace and safety," only to face sudden destruction.
Peace is not peace if it means dividing the land God gave to His Jewish people all those millennia ago. That Covenant stands.
We must reject false peace--no matter how it's packaged. Words like "temporary governance," "international oversight," or "confidence-building" often hide deep compromises and outright obfuscation.
The coming days hold great potential for a poking of God in the apple of His eye.
The IDF is expanding its maneuver in the northern Gaza Strip:
Division 98, which was withdrawn from Khan Younis at the start of the campaign in Iran, has been redeployed to combat in the Gaza Strip—this time to the eastern part of Gaza City in the northern sector.
Iran assessing damage in flurry of activity at Fordow, new satellite images show….
Assessment of images reveals Iranian crews, vehicles, onsite processing damage after U.S. strikes; experts suggest reconstruction remains uncertain despite visible repair efforts.
New satellite images published on Monday showed activity around Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility following U.S. airstrikes, including road reconstruction and heavy machinery operating near damaged areas.
The images taken by Maxar Technologies reveal cranes and excavators working around ventilation shafts and blast craters caused by last week’s airstrikes, which targeted Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
One image shows vehicles clustered near northern shafts above the underground complex.
Maxar analysts said the imagery indicates “a flurry of activity at the heavily fortified facility built deep inside a mountain.”
Despite the damage, some repairs may already be underway.
The satellite imagery shows a large crater near the Fordow entrance was filled in by June 27, though experts say there’s no indication the facility has resumed operations.
