Israel Report - Monday 14 July 2025
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.
Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. [Isaiah 35; vv 1-10]
Saturday saw the beginning of a three-week mourning period in the Jewish state, in which Israelis mourn the destruction of the two Temples and the subsequent exile from the land of Israel.
It begins with a fast, the 17th day of the Hebrew month of Tammuz, commemorating when the Romans breached the walls of Jerusalem in 69 AD, and climaxes with the saddest day in the Jewish calendar, the 9th of Av, when both the First and Second Temples were destroyed in 586 BC and 70 AD respectively.
Tish'a B'Av in the Hebrew Year 5785 begins at sundown on Saturday, 2 August 2025 and ends at nightfall on Sunday, 3 August 2025.
Even with a sovereign Jewish state, Jews continue to mourn the destruction of both Temples in Jerusalem. Such is the centrality of the Land of Israel and the Temples that once stood there.
Historically the events that occurred to Israel at this time began when the spies returned from 40 days in the land with evil reports.
421 BC saw the destruction of the First Temple by the Babylonians, under Nebuchadnezzar. About 100,000 Jews were killed during the invasion. The remainder exiled to Babylon and Persia.
70 AD the second temple was destroyed by the Romans, under Titus. Over 2,500,000 Jews died as a result of war, famine and disease. Over 1,000,000 Jews were exiled to all parts of the Roman Empire.
Over 100,000 Jews were sold as slaves by Romans. Jews killed and tortured in gladiatorial and pagan celebrations.
132 AD Bar Kochba revolt crushed. Betar destroyed - over 100,00 killed.
133 AD Turnus Rufus ploughs site of the Temple. Romans build pagan city of Aelia Capitolina on the site of Jerusalem.
1095 AD A First Crusade is declared by Pope Urban II. 10,000 Jews were killed in the first month. Crusades bring death and destruction to thousands of Jews, totally obliterating many communities in Rhineland and France.
1290 AD The expulsion of Jews from England, accompanied by pogroms and confiscation of books and property.
1492 AD Inquisition in Spain and Portugal culminates in the expulsion of the Jews from the Iberian Peninsula. Families separated, many die by drowning, massive loss of property.
1914 AD In the morning of August 1, Germany declared war on Russia, and that afternoon Russia declared war on Germany.
With the war on Germany, Russia declares war on its own Jews with massive deportations, tens of thousands of Jewish hostages, and bloody army-organized pogroms along the entire front line.
This was the first 20th-century genocide, resulting in more than 300,000 Jewish civilian deaths.
1942 Deportations from Warsaw Ghetto to the Treblinka concentration camp began.
And during this coming 2025 Tish'a B'Av we find Israel and global Jewry once again under alarming threat and fighting existential battles on seven fronts with anti-Antisemitism on the rise as never before.
Netanyahu, Sharaa, plan to meet in Washington in September…….
Benjamin Netanyahu and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa are expected to meet at the White House ahead of the UN General Assembly in September, i24NEWS reported on Tuesday, citing a Syrian source close to Sharaa.
During the meeting, Netanyahu and Sharaa are slated to sign a security agreement "under the patronage" of US President Donald Trump, the report stated.
Such a meeting would be a major step towards a normalization agreement between Israel and Syria.
However, there is new tribal chaos in Syria: Battles have begun between Bedouin tribes and ISIS-affiliated Arab jihadist factions, and Druze factions in the Al-Makous neighbourhood west of the city of Sweida in Jabal al-Druze in southern Syria.
While the Syrian president is cutting deals and signing contracts with foreign countries, southern Syria is a battle zone between his gangs and the Druze minority.

Netanyahu asks IDF for Alternatives to Gaza Humanitarian City Plan……
The IDF presented the timeline for establishing the humanitarian city, where Israel would move 600,000 Arab Palestinians, and is estimated to take several months, and possibly up to a year to build.
However, Netanyahu reportedly "threw out" this plan to establish a humanitarian city in southern Gaza and asked the IDF to propose alternative plans during a tense cabinet meeting on Sunday night, Israeli media reported on Monday.
The meeting was convened amid reported opposition from the IDF to the humanitarian city plan, which was proposed by Defence Minister Israel Katz.
The military has reportedly objected to the plan not only due to the significant budget, but also that building such a city would harm efforts to free the remaining hostages.
The defence establishment believes that Hamas would interpret the humanitarian city plan as an Israeli decision to pursue a partial deal and resume the war after a ceasefire.
The IDF also presented the timeline for establishing the humanitarian city, and is estimated to take several months, and possibly up to a year to build.
However, according to reports, Netanyahu told IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, "I asked for a realistic plan!"
Netanyahu reportedly told military officials to seek alternative plans that would be faster and cheaper by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, negotiations over a Gaza ceasefire are stuck, with Hamas refusing to show flexibility.
In response, Israel is threatening that if there’s no progress in the next 24 hours, the IDF will launch an operation inside Gaza City—the area in the strip currently home to the largest Arab population.

Iran Update
Iran has built new access roads and flattened earth near impact points at the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, likely as part of Iran’s efforts to assess the damage at the facility.
Commercially available satellite imagery captured on July 8 and July 13 showed that Iran has built additional access roads and flattened earth near the northern and southern impact points at Fordow.
Iran has also covered all the impact craters caused by the US GBU-57 Bunker Buster bombs with soil, though it is unclear if the impact craters are all filled in.
An expert on Iran’s nuclear program assessed on July 1 that Iran had gained access to the eastern tunnel entrance, but it remains unclear whether Iranian personnel could enter the tunnel itself.
The expert also assessed that Iran had cleared access to the northern and southern impact points, temporarily covered bombed ventilation shafts, and prepared the site for future repairs or reconstruction of underground infrastructure.
The ventilation shafts at Fordow must be repaired or rebuilt to resume enrichment operations at the site, though the extent of the underground damage to the facility will also determine whether resuming operations is viable.
Iranian moderates who support nuclear negotiations with the United States appear to be prevailing over Iranian hardliners who have rejected negotiations in recent days.
Iran’s requirements in negotiations do not appear to be consistent with US demands, however.
It was reported on July 13 that there is “consensus” among Iran’s political class that Iran needs to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States. An unspecified Trump administration official said on July 13 that the administration believes that Iran is open to an agreement on its nuclear program despite US and Israeli strikes.
This is consistent with recent statements by top Iranian officials. Foreign Affairs Minister Araghchi told Iranian state media on July 12 that his ”goal in negotiating is nothing other than securing the rights, [and] interests“ of Iranians and that he would re-enter negotiations when his team ”feel that these interests can be secured.“
Iranian moderate President Masoud Pezeshkian said on July 13 that he is “trying to prevent the recurrence of war and conflict by advancing the path of diplomacy” and that he believes “war benefits no one and never has a winner.”
Pezeshkian’s July 13 comments seek to falsely present Iran as a peaceful, responsible actor in the Middle East while ignoring Iran’s destabilizing activities throughout the region.
Pezeshkian used a similar argument during his July 7 interview with Tucker Carlson. Pezeshkian used the Tucker Carlson interview [pictured above] to claim that Iran is open to IAEA inspections, which is another US demand in negotiations, but Iran already appears to be conditioning how these inspections take place and what they inspect.
Iran’s efforts to impose conditions on the inspections defeat the purpose of the inspections.
The Iranian regime also defines enriching uranium as a right, which stalled negotiations before the Israeli strikes that began on June 12. Araghchi's comment that he seeks to “secure” Iran’s rights suggests that Iran will likely seek to ensure it can enrich uranium.
Some hardliners remain concerned about the negotiations and moderate ascendancy after the war and oppose negotiations, however.
An Iranian analyst close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRCG) circles noted that the deaths of many IRGC commanders has contributed to the sense that the ”ideological and revolutionary layer has been weakened and eroded by Israel,” and that the moderates and reformists are attempting to ”sell themselves and their mental model as the savior to the Iranian people.”
Senior Iranian clerics issued a fatwa on June 30 that declared US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “mohareb” (enemies of God) and called for their killing.
Araghchi reiterated that Iran will not agree to any nuclear deal that does not allow it to enrich uranium and that Iran will only agree to future negotiations that concern its nuclear program exclusively and will not negotiate on defense issues such as its missile program.[21]ate;
U.S. Navy aircraft are actively conducting aerial surveillance near Iran’s coastal nuclear facility, with multiple sorties reported over the Persian Gulf in the past 5 hours. [flight plan images above taken only hours ago].

U.N. Snapback Sanctions for Iran Looming…..
Germany, together with two other European countries (UK and France), will submit a request to the UN Security Council next Tuesday, July 15, to activate the sanctions mechanism - Snapback against Iran, as a result of the 2015 nuclear agreement and against the background of Iran's violations of the Council's decisions.
This is a dramatic event!
After the request, Iran is expected to enter a 30-day warning period, at the end of which crippling sanctions will be imposed on Iran, which even its friends China and Russia will not be able to prevent with a veto (because the decision has already been made in the past and is now simply being implemented according to the agreement).
The sanctions will prevent Iran from selling oil almost completely because they include draconian sanctions on anyone who trades with Iran. Iran will find it difficult to transport oil and will find it difficult to trade with foreign countries.
These are sanctions that Iran is trying to avoid because they will lead to a rapid economic collapse.

Australia and Japan Exercise to Fight China….
TOWNSVILLE, Australia—In the rugged hills outside this coastal city, Japanese and Australian artillery crews fired in tandem on a distant target. They were assisted by U.S. Marines, who were embedded with the Australian gun teams.
The live-fire drill was the culmination of Southern Jackaroo, an expanding annual exercise in the Australian bush in which the three nations’ forces practice working together as allies”.
Although top officers didn’t call out any foe by name, troops taking part said it was clear that they were training to fight China.
As Beijing’s military steadily expands its forays in the Pacific, U.S. allies in the region are realizing they could easily be drawn into a conflict with China. They are responding by bolstering their forces and increasing joint drills to ensure they can work together seamlessly.
A primary goal of the combined displays of force is to complicate Beijing’s planning and convince the Chinese leadership that it would be too risky to use military force to assert territorial claims.
Australia is also gearing up to host the three-week Talisman Sabre exercise opening Sunday. The exercise will involve 19 nations, including the U.S. and Japan, and more than 30,000 personnel.
King Charles to Host Trump Again……
King Charles will host US President Donald Trump for an unprecedented second state visit to Britain, September 17-19, at Windsor Castle.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on Sunday night that King Charles will host US President Donald Trump for his second state visit to Britain, a diplomatic event scheduled to take place from September 17 to 19.
This marks an historic occasion, as President Trump will become the first elected political leader in modern history to be accorded two state visits by a British monarch.
The official statement from the palace specified, "His Majesty the King will host the President and Mrs. Trump at Windsor Castle," with further details expected to be released at a later date.

Israel uses the name of a Babylonian god for a month in their calendar? (Ezekiel 8: 14)
They must be using the Talmud instead of the Torah for their Law.
Seems like a bunch of Pharisees to me. "They say the are Jews, but are not" (Revelation 2: 9 & 3: 9). Many others have adopted Judaism like the Satan worshiping Khazarians who run the cabal that commits genocide with their bioweapons injections and seek to rule the world with their One World Government. They do use the Talmud and the Noahide laws that call preaching the gospel and worshiping Yeshua of Nazareth as the Messiah blasphamy. They execute Christians for this crime and spit on them when they come within range.
1st month is Abib not Nisan. 2nd is Ziv not Iyar, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th is Ethanim, 8th is Bul, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th (in leap years) months. Scripture only records the names of four months before the exile to Babylon, but the others may have been known from the Exodus to the exile. The times of the feasts were linked to agricultural times and not to a particular month as it changes each year with new moons. Their names have been lost since the Babylonian exile and return. Since then they have used the names of Pagan gods for their months that they used in Babylon. We also use Pagan names for the Julian calendar months and days, but God's people would never mention the names of other gods and neither should His adopted chiildren from other nations. (Exodus 23:13; Deuteronomy 18:20)
