Israel may accept Iran as nuclear-threshold power on condition of US-Russian guarantees......
October 8 2021
Israel, Iran, the US and Russia are engaged in secret talks for Israel’s acceptance of Iran as a nuclear threshold power in return for a US-Russian guarantee that Tehran will not cross the threshold to make a nuclear weapon.
Kremlin sources say that reports of a forthcoming summit between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, possibly on October 22, attest to those talks making progress towards a deal.
A strong clue to this secret and foolish ploy also came from Washington.
Last week, an Israeli delegation led by National Security Adviser Eyal Hulata met with his US counterpart Jack Sullivan for what was officially billed as a discussion of Plan B, should President Joe Biden’s bid to revive the 2015 nuclear accord with Iran fail.
This presentation was meant to distract from the secret track afoot brokered by the two big powers on the Iranian nuclear issue.
Straight after the two security advisers ended their talks, Secretary of State Antony Blinken was on the phone to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.
He next called Israeli FM Yair Lapid and arranged for them to meet in Washington next week.
There are three conclusions to draw from these interchanges:
1] Russia is for the first time (since the original 2015 nuclear accord) joining the US in an intensive round of secret talks for resolving the Iranian nuclear issue by diplomacy.
2] Moscow, although Iran’s leading nuclear power provider, is amenable to a mediation effort for bridging the nuclear dispute between Tehran and Jerusalem.
3] Putin agrees to join the Biden administration in guarantees that would bar Iran from going past the threshold to actually develop a nuclear weapon. Moscow would further guarantee Iran’s honouring of the new accord, on which Moscow, Washington, Iran – and Israel, too, this time round – yeah, right, what could go wrong with this?.
If this move goes according to plan and Tehran refrains from heaping up unexpected obstacles, a new nuclear accord may be in the making.
By late October or early November, it may have matured ready for Iran and the original six powers (US, Russia, China, France, Germany and the EU) to affix their signatures, certified for the first time by Israel.
Thereby signing their very own death warrant - or at the very least placing their nation open for an attack and invasion in the very near future? Ezekiel 38?
It may be premature to assess the regional implications of this deal should it comes to fruition.
However, the Bennett-Lapid government appears to be willing to back down on Israel’s most fundamental policy objective, namely, never to allow Iran to reach the point of a nuclear threshold power.
It would also mean that Israel may be finally satisfied with a joint US- [the feeble Joe Biden] Russian [the fully trustworthy ex-KJB leader Putin]guarantee against Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon.
That this secret diplomatic track is alive was hinted at by certain nuances in Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Avivi Kohavi’s [pictured above] words on October 5, during the ceremony marking the changeover of intelligence (AMAN) chiefs. (Majr General Ahron Haliva takes over from Major General Tamir Hayman).
“Preparations for destroying Iran’s nuclear capabilities will continue in every arena and at all times,” said General Kohavi.
“Those preparations continue to develop and improve.” He went on to stress: “In case of any circumstances that may arise, we are bound to stand ready with an effective and timely military answer.”
The army chief’s words were couched in conditional terms and the future tense, indicating that Israel’s “preparations” were advancing but not at this point ready to go.
While Kohavi made it clear to Tehran that Israel’s military plans were firmly in place for any eventualities, he refrained from language that might spoil the diplomatic game.
A dangous game for Israel's new government to be playing for sure, would Bibi have allowed for this to develop?? Likely not.
Israeli Airstrike on Syrian Airbase....
09 October 2021
Syrian air defenses responded on Friday night to an Israeli strike targeting a military airbase in the country’s central province of Homs, Syrian state media said. The airstrike wounded six soldiers, the report said.
The report quoted an unnamed military official as saying the airstrike took place shortly after 9 p.m., and that it reached as far as the military’s T4 airbase in the desert.
The official said the Syrian air defences hit most of the incoming missiles. But he reported that six soldiers were wounded in the attack and that there was unspecified damage. There were no further details.
Over the past years, Israel is believed to have been behind many strikes inside government-controlled parts of Syria.
Israel has acknowledged it is going after bases of Iran-allied militias, such as the powerful Lebanese militant Hezbollah group fighting on the side of Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces in the civil war, and suspected arms shipments believed to be bound for the Iran-backed Hezbollah.
Syria’s pro-government media said the strikes landed in rural parts of Homs province.
Islamic State Bomber Strikes Afghan Mosque - killing 46+.....
09 October 2021
An Islamic State suicide bomber struck at a mosque packed with Shiite Muslim worshippers in northern Afghanistan on Friday, killing at least 46 people and wounding dozens in the latest security challenge to the Taliban as they transition from insurgency to governance.
In its claim of responsibility, the region’s IS affiliate identified the bomber as a Uygher Muslim, saying the attack targeted both Shiites and the Taliban for their purported willingness to expel Uyghers to meet demands from China.
The statement was carried by the IS-linked Aamaq news agency.
The blast tore through the crowded mosque in the city of Kunduz during Friday noon prayers, the highlight of the Muslim religious week.
It was the latest in a series of IS bombings and shootings that have targeted Afghanistan’s new Taliban rulers, as well as religious institutions and minority Shiites since U.S. and NATO troops left in August.
Fire and brimstone: Sodom and Gomorrah perhaps destroyed by ‘cosmic fireball,’ evidence shows........
08 Octber 2021
“All the observations stated in Genesis are consistent with a cosmic fireball. But there is no scientific proof this destroyed city is indeed the Sodom of the Old Testament.” Professor James Kennett, University of California at Santa Barbara
The biblical “sin cities” of Sodom and Gomorrah could have been destroyed by a meteor “cloudburst” that incinerated all 8,000 inhabitants, a fascinating new study suggests.
The giant space rock exploded over the town 3,650 years ago, creating a fireball. Scientists say the same event might also have given rise to the tale of Jericho’s walls “tumbling down,” as that city was just 20 miles away.
In the Bible, God was said to have been enraged by the wickedness of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, raining “fire and brimstone” upon them.
Now there seems to be hard evidence that a “heavenly event” really did happen around that time.
The cosmic calamity laid waste to the Jordan River Valley’s northern shore, razing a huge 100-acre city to the ground. It also exterminated other cities and multiple small villages.
There would have been no survivors.
The epicentre of Jordan is located at what is today known as Tall el-Hammam.
An ancient palace was flattened, along with the perimeter walls and other structures. Detonation occurred about 2.5 miles above the ground.
Even at that distance, the blast created a 740 mph shock wave. It would have leveled most of the buildings. None of the 8,000 residents would have survived the initial blast or the rock melting temperatures that followed.
Human remains suggested they had been blown up or incinerated, with extreme disarticulation and fragmentation of bones. “We saw evidence for temperatures greater than 2,000 degrees Celsius,” says study lead author Professor James Kennett [pictured below] of the University of California at Santa Barbara, in a statement.
An international team also found building materials and pottery shards melted into glass. Mud bricks had heat bubbles.
These are all indications of unusually high temperatures, which would have occurred during the biblical account of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
There was no man-made technology at the time that could have produced such astonishing damage.
“There is evidence of a large cosmic fireball, close to Tall el-Hammam,” says Professor Kennett.
He likens the extraordinary event to the 1908 Tunguska Event when a 12 megaton meteor destroyed 80 million trees across 830 square miles of eastern Siberia
Further proof was provided by the identification of melted metals, including iron and silica, in samples of soil and sediments.
The settlement had hosted early civilization for thousands of years. At the time it was ten and five times larger than Jerusalem and Jericho, respectively.
“I think one of the main discoveries is shocked quartz. These are sand grains containing cracks that form only under very high pressure. We have shocked quartz from this layer. That means there were incredible pressures involved to shock the quartz crystals. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals. It is very hard to shock,” explains Kennett.
The fireball also explains the unusually high concentrations of salt in the basement layer, which reached 25% in some samples. “The salt was thrown up due to the high impact pressures,” he adds.
The meteor is believed to have broken up upon contact with the Earth’s atmosphere. “And it may be [that] the impact partially hit the Dead Sea, which is rich in salt,” says Kennett.
It redistributed salt-rich crystals from the local shores of the Dead Sea, wiping out other communities across the region. They may have included the biblical city of Jericho, which underwent violent destruction at the same time.

The high-salinity soil is believed to have triggered the “Late Bronze Age Gap” in which local cities were abandoned.
Populations dropped from tens of thousands to maybe a few hundred nomads. Nothing could grow in these formerly fertile grounds, forcing people to leave the area for hundreds of years.
Evidence for resettlement of Tall el-Hammam and nearby communities appears again in the Iron Age, roughly 600 years after the cities’ sudden devastation.
Tall el-Hamman has been the focus of an ongoing debate as to whether it could be the biblical city of Sodom.
In the Old Testament’s Book of Genesis, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God for how wicked their inhabitants had become. One inhabitant, Lot, was saved by two angels who instructed him not to look behind as they fled. But Lot’s wife lingers and is turned into a pillar of salt.
Meanwhile, fire and brimstone fall from the sky; multiple cities were destroyed; thick smoke rose from the fires; city inhabitants were killed and area crops were destroyed in what sounds like an eyewitness account of a cosmic impact event.
The researchers believe the disaster generated an oral tradition that inspired the written account in the Book of Genesis. It may also have led to the story of the burning of Jericho in the Old Testament’s Book of Joshua.
“It is an incredibly culturally important area. It is where much early cultural complexity of humans developed,” adds Kennett.
For the first time since Joe Biden and General Milley withdrew all US forces from Bagram Air Base and left the Taliban with billions in US military weapons, the lights at Bagram were turned on this week.
Locals witnessed several military planes, reportedly from China, landing and taking off from the base.
Lotfollah Dezhkam, [pictured above] the representative for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Fars Province, urged the elimination of Israel in a Friday sermon in the city of Shiraz.
The Islamic clerical firebrand declared, “The global arrogance led by America with complicity of Israel seeks to delay the realization of an important issue, which is the destruction of the Zionist regime.”
